Actor Neal McDonough Is shy for a few months for his 60th journey around the sun, but the Hollywood star just recorded one of the most physical roles of his career and he says he got his ass in a top form!
In the film, “The Last Rodeo” – which will be hit on May 23 on May 23 – McDonough plays a retired Rodeo legend that is forced back on a bull in a desperate attempt to make money for his family.
TMZ Sports recently spoken with the director, Jon Avnetand McDonough, who told it Babcock He went to great efforts to look like the real deal.
“I worked very hard to ensure that I was physically in top performance. We train on horses, we trained on mechanical bulls, I trained my ass to make sure that I looked like an authentic Rodeo man, a bull driver,” said the leading actor.
There is even a scene in which Neal is shirtless … so there was no stagnation behind clothing.
“It’s just such a cool moment in the film for me because I worked so hard to images to look like a real bull driver, and I think it worked.”
Neal says that he has left the actual bull to the professionals … Because being injured, damage can cause damage to the production schedule of a film.
“For me it was usually on top of mechanical bulls all the time. They would not let me drive (bulls), in terms of insurance I wanted Crazy.”
“This is the experience of directing leading men. They all want to do their own stunts, and you have to try to protect them and the film by harming themselves and the film by closing, and so on,” said Avnet, adding … “This man is unfortunately fearless!”
Even freeing up the bulls, McDonough says that he defeated “the snot of him” out of him … Although it was all worth it for Neal, who made a great film with Avnet, but also had an explosion to make the film.
“For me it was the time of my life!”
