Hybe – The company it manages BTS And other large K-pop acts is robbed as part of a trade investigation of prior knowledge … according to reports from South Korea.
The Korea Times It reported on Thursday on Thursday that the office of the public prosecutor of Seoul Southern District searched with the office of the company in Central Seoul.
Allegedly, a Hybe Executive has been accused of achieving a profit of 240 million won – South Korean currency worth around $ 175k – by using Insider information to win on the stock market.
The anonymous executive is investigated after he reportedly bought shares in the company YG Plus-a branch of YG Entertainment, another top K-pop company-nadat he intended to work with them.
The most famous customer of Hybe is the Korean boys’ band BTS … who has 9 Platinum records and has sold out stadiums around the world.

We have contacted the South Korean authorities and Hybe for comments … so far, not a word back.
