The jury in Clearly‘S Federal Sex Trafficking Trial hears a very compelling witness from Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassia – But a very famous lawyer has some ideas about how to effectively grill a pregnant woman in the stands.
Jose Baez” Casey AnthonyThe defense lawyer in her murder process of 2011, joined “TMZ Live” on Wednesday to break down the strategy for Diddy’s defense team prior to their cross -hearing of Cassie.
Although many think that the case will rise or fall on the cross-hearing of Cassie by the defense but Baez says that it should not.
While public prosecutors show the jury a lot of evidence that Diddy is a very ‘bad guy’, with the rapmogul that forces Cassie to do Gruesome things during “Freak-Offs” – Baez says that Diddy’s lawyers cannot define them that way.
He says that lawyers should point to officers who show Diddy as a domestic abuser – which is terrible – but it is not one of the criminal counts with which he is confronted.
Baez suggests that the line of questions for Cassie would have to reveal her loving exchanges with Diddy during their 10-year relationship … And also press her on issues of permission, and try to show the jury that she was not a prisoner.
It is certainly a delicate dance, because it cannot come as if they are attacking a very visible pregnant woman, but see how the clip – Baez, who has secured an acquittal for Casey – is convinced that it can be done.
