Christie Brinkley shows her support for ex-husband Billy Joel After the news of his recent diagnosis of brain disorder.
Brinkley went to Instagram on Saturday to share a moving message next to a video clip of her and daughter Sailor Brinkley-Cook From one of Billy’s former NYC concerts.
She started to share the post that the entire Brinkley family sends him a lot of love and good wishes for a complete and fast recovery. She noticed that she is reminded of all the joy that Billy creates.
She praised the ability of the singer to bring people together through his music writing … “You turn an arena from strangers into a living room full of friends while we all in the context of turning. I am sure I am praying for everyone in that room if I say good for yourself – we all want to go back in that white hotlight.
She closed the mail with a warm message of love and encouragement and said … “and we all hope it feels good! We love you – the children, me and an arena or two!”
The former couple was married from 1985 to 1994 and shares daughter Alexa Ray Joel.
The singer announced on Friday that he is Suffering from normal pressure hydrocephalus … what a brain disorder is where excess fluid accumulates in the liquid -filled cavities of the brain. Billy says that his condition has been exacerbated by his recent concert performances … and he has problems hearing, seeing and balancing.
Billy’s Kamp says that his shows will be canceled until July 2026 as he recovers.
