The 33-year-old Indiana resident opened his racing experience on the Victory Banquet on Monday … and although he ended in the event, the collection meals were more about number 1-especially during the rain delay that postponed the start with about 45 minutes.
“Never in my life I erased in my car until Sunday,” Daly said, laughing the room. “I was on the schedule and I had something like that:” This is the best car I have ever been to all my life. I have to pee in this thing. ” I’m not kidding. “
“I worked legitimate in my racing car before the race even started.”
When asked if it was due to the excitement or his bladder that was full, Daly said that he “really had to go badly.”
Of course there was no other option for Daly … because he had to sit in his car and wait for it to work together again.
He was able to make some jokes about all this … saying that he wasn’t sure if it was his diabetes who was worried or just old age – something Helio Castroneves would know.
“He is mid -100 (years old),” Daly said lightly. “I don’t know if that happens to him a lot.”
That said, Daly gave a big shout to his engineers … because they had the problem to deal with racing day.
