New Orleans Saints Quarterback Derek Carr Runs away from the NFL at the age of 34, announced on Saturday morning … with reports that say that the pension is due to a serious shoulder injury.
The four-fold Pro Bowl Quarterback that spent most of his career at the Oakland and Las Vegas Raiders spent the decision in a statement in a statement … to pray and talk to his wife, HeathlandHe came to the conclusion that his match days are over.
“We have been incredibly blessed for more than 11 years, and we are forever grateful and humiliated by this experience,” said the second round Pick 2014 in a statement that the saints released.
“It is difficult to find the right words to express all teammates, coaches, management, ownership, team officials and especially the fans who made this trip so special.”
According to the saints, Carr started to experience pain in his right shoulder when he started his preparation for the 2025 season … his first time he threw hard since he ran a hand injury and concussion on December 8.
Scans in the area later stipulated that Carr had to do with a Labral tear and “significant degenerative changes in his rotatorm surchet.”
Carr could have opted for an operation, the team explained … but it would have forced him to sit outside the entire season of 2025 – and there was no guarantee that he would ever return to 100%.
“Your relentless support has meant the world for us,” he added.

Carr opened his injury during a church service last month … and used it to express how external opinions do not matter, only “the Word of God” does.
Carr, whose older brother, DavidAlso played in the NFL, ended his career with just over 41,200 Yards, 257 touchdowns and 112 intercepts.
