The second day of the jury choice goes on Tuesday in a federal courthouse in Manhattan … and although some people endure the next round of jury selection, many more are apologized for the cause.

Juror 149 – one of the many potential jury members who were interviewed to start this week – the judge told that his son was beaten up and robbed while he was at George Washington University.
To the question by whom, Juror 149 answered him that they were three young black men … so the judge asked him if he would be biased against Diddy because he is black.
Juror 149 replied “people are people” – apparently saying that he would judge the individual, not their race – before he would leave the courtroom … and the judge told both parties that he would not hit the potential jury member for reason, and nobody objected.

It is a rare agreement between the two parties during this process … which has sometimes become time between the two sets of lawyers.
Juror 143, for example, admitted that he read about the jury’s selection process yesterday after the court, although he was told that he did not have to … and although the defense wanted to keep him despite the screw, he was eventually fired.
Jury member 180 admitted that she had bladder problems … and although she said she could endure a movie, she was eventually released from the jury pool.
Jury member 175 pointed to traumatization from the past … say something happened to her during wartime in the Ivory Coast, a country in West Africa. It is unclear what happened to her – but she said she just couldn’t serve in the jury and she too was rejected.
And Juror 211 admitted that he discussed this case with his wife … who is a big fan of TMZ and has read our reporting on the entire Diddy case. He’s out.

Several more people have passed the jury pool … but there are tons of people who are not – and it is clear that there are many reasons why. We even spoke with one person who was fired, and they described the long, difficult process for us. Worth mentioning – the jury will do that Not be grazed for the process.
Opening arguments in the case of Will start next week … and although no delay is expected, it certainly feels slowly.
