European leaders called US President Donald Trump to discuss proposals for a 30-day ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine from Monday during a visit to Kyiv.
The call came after leaders of the so -called “Coalition of the Willing” had held a meeting to discuss the advancing peace talks.
The leaders of France, Germany, the UK and Poland were personally organized by the Ukrainian President Volodyymyr Zenskyy, while others were connected remotely.

The “Coalition of the Willing” was formed to strengthen each final peace agreement with security guarantees, including the possibility of placing troops in Ukraine.
Trump previously repeated the call for an unconditional ceasefires of 30 days after a phone call with Zensky.
“If it is striking -the fire is not respected, the US and its partners will impose further sanctions,” he wrote on social media.
While the meeting was underway, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that Russia was already “used to sanctions” and knew how to minimize their impact, adding: “It makes no sense to scare us with these sanctions.”
In the meantime, Dmitry Medvedev, the former Russian president and now deputy head of the Russian Security Council, told the European allies to “push these peace plans”.
Other leaders who came to the meeting remotely were Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, Von der Leyen and Mark Rutte, the Secretary General of NATO.
Reports of Russian attacks in Ukraine will continue, despite the claims from Russia, the fires -fire.
In the North Sumy region, an 85-year-old woman was killed, three others were injured, 19 residential homes and 10 other buildings were destroyed or damaged, said the Ukrainian police.
