Five killed after two helicopters collide in Finland

Five people died after two civilian helicopters in Finland collided in Finland, the local police said.

The helicopters poured local time (10:00 GMT) near the airport of Eura at around 12:00, after they had left the Estonian capital of Tallinn.

Authorities found the wreck of the helicopters in a wooded area. The police say there were two people in one helicopter and three in the other.

They were on their way to an aviation event in the Piikajärvi Flight Center in Kokemäki, the local media reported.

The plane were registered civilian helicopters abroad. The crash is being investigated by the police.

The Finnish and Estonian officials said they were working together in the probe.
