Denise AlexanderThe best known for her role as Lesley Webber on “General Hospital” has died for years.
The executive producer of “General Hospital”, Frank Valentiniannounced her death on Friday and remembered her as someone who ‘barriers on the screen and broke’.
He added … “It meant so much to have her role resumed in recent years and I am honored that I had the opportunity to work with her.”
Denise last appeared on the long -term soap in 2021 after returning for his anniversary shows in 2013 and 2019.
In addition to her iconic run in “General Hospital”, Denise also appeared in “Days of Our Lives” between 1966 and 1973.
Denise was a naturally born actress, who was first broken into the Showbizz at only 6 years old. But her talent not only pushed her in front of the camera – she also worked in the radio and was also an accomplished photographer.
She was also a scholar and graduated from UCLA with an English major and artificial meal. Afterwards she worked on a few post -university studies while wet her feet of real estate.
The actress took a short break of Showbizz during her time at the university until “Days of Our Lives” writers Ted Corday And Betty Corday Came for the second time to knock on her door with a role.
She accepted it and told the Schenectady Gazette In 1971 she is “grateful” that she did.
Denise was married to Richard A. Collaa director and producer with whom she often collaborated, until his death in 2021. They shared a daughter, Elizabeth.
Denise was 85.
