Huge explosion at China Chemical Plant kills five

A huge explosion rocked a chemical factory in the eastern province of Shandong in China on Tuesday, in which at least five people were killed and 19 others were injured.

Images that circulate online shows thick columns of black smoke that rise from the site.

More than 200 care providers were sent to Shandong Youdao Chemical Factory, which, according to its website, develops, produces and sells pesticides and pharmaceutical products and chemical intermediates.
