The Israeli Prime Minister has said that there is “uncertainty” about the condition of three of the 24 hostages who were previously supposed to live in Hamas Captivity in Gaza.
Benjamin Netanyahu said that he knew “with certainty” that 21 hostages were lived, but the status of “three more” was unclear.
His comments came after the US President Donald Trump said that 24 hostages lived a week ago, but the figure was now 21. He made the comments during an event during an event in the White House on Tuesday and quoted no source or gave further details.

Despite that statement, Haaretz newspaper of Israël reports that the army chef of the army, Lt Gen Eyal Zamir, presented operational orders to commanders this week who placed “the hostages” at the bottom of a six-point listWith “beating Hamas” at the top.
Israeli officials have said that the plans for the extensive offensive include the seizure of all the territory for an indefinite period of time, the violence from Palestinians to the south and taking over auxiliary distribution with private companies despite protests from the UN and its humanitarian partners.
About 1,200 people were killed and 251 others were held hostage during the attacks on southern Israel led by Hamas on October 7, 2023, which caused the Gaza war.
Another four people, two of them dead, were already caught in Gaza before the conflict.
Until now, Israel has secured the return of 196 hostages, 147 of them alive, usually by two temporary ceases -the fire with Hamas.
At least 52,653 people were killed in Gaza during the war, according to the Hamas-Runned Health Minister of the territory.
More than 2500 died since Israel ended a two-month ceasefires on March 18 and resumed his offensive and said that Hamas wanted to exercise to release hostages.
