We caught up with the Fox News -Gastheer on Lax Friday … and we had to ask him if he thinks Pope Leo XIVThe political views of politics in this country will influence politics – before he was the pope, he was a cardinal who appeared over the president Donald Trump and vice -president JD Vance On X.
Waters says that he doesn’t care what the Pope believes … because regardless of who he is, American politicians will still do their own work – with little thinking about what the papacy wants.
As Watters says: “The pope does his thing, and America does our thing, and it’s all good.”
When it comes to Trump’s invitation – delivered by Vance to Pope Leo and asks him to come to the White House – Watters says that he has a big reason to think that it will not happen … Most people have to go to the Vatican to see the pope, not the other way around.
ICYMI … VANCE met the pope in the apostolic palace – and he gave him a few gifts, including the invitation to the White House, of which Leo indicated that he would eventually accept, and a Chicago Bears sweater with his name on it.
