Kelsey Grammer Commanded shocking details about the last moments of his sister before she was killed … Talking about the abuse she suffered before she was stabbed to death – crying while reading the book he wrote about her.
The famous television actor opened himself about the murder of his sister during an ABC news interview while promoting his new book “Karen: A Brother Memembers” -a memoir that he keeps the memory of his sister alive and to tell more about her story than just the way in which she died.
View the clip itself … Grammer tells Diane Sawyer That after his sister was abducted in 1975, she was taken to a nearby house, where the men who took her in turn rape her.
Grammer then reads from his book … And he is overwhelmed by emotion while trying to endure the words- before he dives in how he recently went back to Colorado to visit the places related to her murder.
Kelsey says he hopes this book will help PileThe memory of … while others who have experienced a similar tragedy to heal.
Karen was abducted when she was only 18 years old by several men who robbed the restaurant where they worked.
A man called Freddie Glenn was arrested and later convicted of the murder. He is a life sentence … and Kelsey says he intends to resist his conditional release every time it comes up, as he has in the past.
In a separate interview with PeopleKelsey admitted that the loss of his sister brought him to drugs and alcohol. He was arrested several times for drunk driving and cocaine ownership between 1988 and 1996, during the peak of his fame about ‘Cheers’ and later ‘Frasier’. He has since become sober.
