Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman says he will not recover himself from the Honor And Lyle Menendez Case … even though their lawyer calls Hochman to go aside.
In new legal documents, obtained by TMZ, Hochman says that there is no legal reason for him to recapture himself … And he explodes the defense for what he sees as a “drastic and desperate step” … and claims that they try to circumvent the central issue here … desirable, which Hochman opposes.
Erik and Lyle’s lawyer, Mark GeragosPreviously called for Hochman to recover himself.
Hochman grew up in Beverly Hills and went to the same high school as the Menendez Bros … and the family of Mendez and Geragos say that Hochman has ended the hearing of the Menendez family to preserve the Mendez family.
Bryan FreedmanThe lawyer of the Menendez family, Hochman destroyed TMZ in a new statement and told us … “Instead of doing his real job and taking steps to stop looting, smash and grabs, the number of burglaries and other unbridled criminal behavior in Los Angeles, da Hochman, prefer to show performances on TV and social media.”
Freedman adds … “Verbal abuse of the victims of the family member is not an example of difficult crime. This man has no contact with the reality. His position that if Lyle and Erik admit to claim that lies had made his position 35 years ago, that he could have his position in the media. It is clear that that is felon, but also factor.
Eirk and Lyle have a hearing for next Friday, where the judge will probably take into account the refusal movement and the admissibility of a risk assessment report.
As we told you, Governor Gavin Newsom The Parole Board of the State ordered in February to carry out a risk assessment of the brothers before he made a fixed decision.

Newsom says he is planning to use the report as part of a hearing of 13 June, in which Erik and Lyle are supposed to appear before the board appears for individual assessments. After the hearing, the Governor intends to then make his decision or to grant them a claim.
Erik and Lyle were convicted of killing their parents with hunting rifles in their house in Beverly Hills in 1989 and were convicted to live in prison without the possibility of conditional release.
Despite their punishment, Erik and Lyle hope that their rehabilitation in prison will free them out of prison. They submitted for resentment, asked for clementia and have insisted on a new process based on what they say that the newly excavated evidence is.
