Honor And Lyle Menendez Can celebrate a new court victory – the judge gave them a new punishment, which allows conditional release … So now they can get out of prison after they have been confronted with the State Parole Board.

Menendez family members – of whom many testified that they wanted Erik and Lyle from prison – also burst into joy and embraced each other in court as they celebrated their new punishments.
During the hearing, the Menendez brothers admitted their crime and even confessed that they had gone outside to reload their shotguns … before they returned to kill their mother.
As you know, the brothers’ lawyer, Mark Geragos – who has our cohost “2 angry men” Podcast – urges the brothers to get a reduced punishment for months, referring to their rehabilitation efforts while they have been behind bars for more than 3 decades.
Now Tuesday’s decision really does not come to Erik and Lyle, closer to the release than they were already … Due to the fact that Gov. Gavin Newsom The State Parole Board ordered in February to revise their business.

While former public prosecutor in Los Angeles County George Gascón supported the motion of Erik and Lyle for resentment, his successor – Da Nathan Hochman – has been unambiguously against resentment … repeatedly called the brothers Take responsibility, recognize their lies and apologize For killing their parents.
The DA’s office received a lot of anti -aircraft weather from the family members of Menendez for Show photos of graphic town of offens Last month during a hearing.

Hochman apologizedWith a few comments, on “TMZ Live” … but claimed that it was done in the interest of sharing the full scope of crime with the judge.
Geragos shot back later … and claimed that the DA’s office failed to discuss the rehabilitation efforts of Erik and Lyle in any way – and they used the photos of the crime scene for their pure shock value.
The next stop for Erik and Lyle will be a date of 13 June with the Parole Board, and if they are given conditional release, and Gov. Newsom -signs on it … they are released.
Even if the board refuses to grant conditional release, Newsom can grant them a claim.
