Michael Knowles from Daily Wire applauds the military ban on Trans, calls identity ‘disease’

Popular conservative commentator Michael Knowles Says the Supreme Court that president maintains Donald TrumpThe ban on transgender people who serve in the army is a smart move … because he thinks it is a serious disease that influences their combat willingness.

We spoke with Knowles – an old podcast -host Ben Shapiro‘s Daily Wire – came through “TMZ Live” on Wednesday to discuss the court’s ruling this week … and explains that he is entirely for it because psychological problems in the trans -community prevent them from being effective soldiers.

Knowles references studies that show higher percentages of chronic diseases among members of the trans -community … and adds that Americans were voted on Trump fully knowing that this was something he would do, so that it could not draw.

Regarding whether this statement means that all gays can be banned from the army in the future … Michael says that there is no way – because many gays have served in the army for decades.

However, he also stands with “Don’t ask, don’t tell it”, claims that it is effective while Harvey fires back.

Knowles repeatedly mentions a “serious mental illness” … It is worth mentioning that gender dysphoria – which according to the American Psychiatric Associationis “psychological need that is the result of an incongruity between a person’s gender assigned at birth and someone’s gender identity” is included in the diagnostic and statistical manual for psychological disorders (DSM-5).

However, the non-conformity of gender is not mentioned in the manual … and the authors did their best to mention: “Gender non-conformity is not a psychological disorder in itself.” All this is in an attempt to diagnose a real problem instead of pathologizing the identity.
