The White House has confirmed that a military parade will be held to mark the 250 -year anniversary of the US Army on 14 June, who falls on the same day as President Donald Trump’s birthday.
A “day -long festival” will be held in the National Mall in Washington DC, said a spokesperson for the army, adding that the event would contain 6,600 soldiers, 150 vehicles and 50 planes.

“We won both wars, nobody was close to us in terms of strength, courage or military sparkle, but we never celebrate anything,” he added. “That’s because we no longer have leaders, who know how to do that! So we’re going to celebrate our victories again!”
Later on Friday, Pers Secretary of the White House Karoline Leavitt reported reports that the name of Veterans Day would change, write on X: “We will always honor Veterans Day and we have to commemorate the end of the Second World War and WWII as Victory Days!”
