Moment Australian politician draws a career with a ‘shoey’

An outgoing state -Member caused a scene in parliament of West -Australia after he ended his Valedictory speech with a Shoey -having a festive drink, usually alcohol, from a shoe.

Kyle McGinn ended his farewell address by opening a beer and drinking his removed shoe, which he says he became known to do by his voters.

McGinn told local media that he did to show that there were normal people in parliament and celebrating in his own way.
