Scary moment on the NHL Ice Sunday … A referee took a stick to the face and he bleed so abundantly, there was some first concern about the well-being of one of his eyes.
The scene unfolded during the second period of the Panthers vs. Maple Leafs Game 7 Playoff Matchup in Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.

Florida defender Niko Mikkola Was trying to erase the puck from a running leaf player, but while he pushed him on stage, the knife of the stick accidentally took referee Chris Rooney Near one of his eyes.
