Kevin Costner is charged by a stunt artist about an unwritten rape scene in his anthology “Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 2” … and it seems that the moment also took his toll from the children’s actors of the film.
Here is the deal … Devyn Labella This week the lawsuit brought against Costner and the production companies of the film after she said that she was “the victim of a violent non -written, unplanned rape scene” directed by Costner on 2 May 2023, according to legal documents we obtained.
A production source with direct knowledge tells TMZ … Although they cannot talk about the allegations of the lawsuit, they knew that the rape scene was filmed in hearing distance of child actors … and neither they nor their adult counterparts were given the heads of the loud, explicit moment.
And because they had zero warning, the children were scared and upset when they suddenly heard a woman screaming shouted bloody murder – and adults around them were reassured that everything was good … Although nobody knew what was happening!

Labella – whose other credits are “Barbie” and “American Horror Story” – says she has not experienced any problems and even filmed a planned and rehearsed sexual scene on May 1 … That’s why she was shocked to learn the next day to learn another explicit scene.
We hear that the next day it was whispering that it was an “uncomfortable” evening for actors involved in the unwritten scene – but for the most part everything that happened was very “quiet”.
Labella claims that no contractually mandatory intimacy coordinator was present on the set for the unwritten attack. And the suit accuses Costner and the corresponding production companies of acting “With maliciousness, fraud, oppression and in reckless contempt” of her rights.
Costner’s lawyer Marty singer Earlier TMZ told that the lawsuit has “absolutely no merit” and claims that Labella is a “serial prosecutor of people in the entertainment industry” … and adds Costner “always wants to ensure that everyone works comfortably on his films and takes the safety on the set very seriously.”
Our source agrees, usually … Kevin is a professional and was great, especially for the child actors – except for this case of no warning for such a graphic moment, which in the worst case was a serious decline in the protocol, at best disrespectful.
We have contacted a new line cinema for comment … so far, not a word back.
