Norway Princess Ingrid Alexandra is moving to Sydney in front of the university

The Norway -Princess Ingrid Alexandra moves to Australia for its university studies, which registers for training at the University of Sydney.

Alexandra, who stands second in line to the throne of Norway, will become a member of her classmates from August and will study ‘international relations and political economy’, said the Royal Household of Norway.

The 21-year-old will study full-time and live in a student residence on campus, a university spokesperson said.

King Harald van Norway is the grandfather of Alexandra and her father is crown prince Haakon.

“Her royal highness is looking forward to devoting herself to her studies in the coming years,” said Norway’s royal household in a statement.

The mother of the princess, crown princess Mette-Marit, spent a year during her senior school studies at the Wangaratta High School in Victoria.

The University of Sydney is looking forward to welcoming the princess, said his vice-president, Kirsten Andrews.

“We know how valuable the campus experience is and we hope that the princess gets the most out of our beautiful grounds, clubs and societies, as well as our proximity to the best Sydney has to offer,” said Mrs. Andrews in a statement.

Born and raised in Oslo, the princess recently completed her military service and spent 15 months as an engineer Soldaat and Rifleman.

Her biography on the Royal Family website provides an overview of environmental protection and climate change as important interests.
