A Hollywood actor – who scored roles in ‘Nypt Blue’ and ‘CSI Miami’ – believes that his daughter did not commit suicide and died under suspicious circumstances … and now he sues her alienated friend for unlawful death.
Dwayne Adway On Monday, lawsuit was filed in La County Superior Court against Makar Kirikovaccused him of being involved in the death of his daughter, Daelena Mackay.
In the suit, Adway says that Daelena and Kirikov lived together for about a year in a LA apartment and during that time Daelena “experienced several incidents of domestic violence” by Kirikov.
As a result, Adway says that his daughter decided to cut off the relationship with Kirikov and he had started ‘communicating with another romantic partner’.
Adway says that Kirikov subsequently became jealous and more and more agitated, which led to a heated argument between the former umbrella organization in the apartment of Daelena in the night of 23 May 2024.
According to Adway, Kirikov says that he left the apartment after the back and forth with Daelena and returned to see Daelena hanging on a shower rod through a scarf – but Adway insists that this account has never been verified.
Adway claims that the LAPD has just accepted the version of Kirkov’s events and did not conduct a thorough investigation. He also sues the city and the county of Los Angeles for negligence and failure to train and supervise his officers.

Adway also says that LAPD has never found a suicide letter and says that the investigation showed a “systemic contempt for the good evaluation of suspicious deaths in which young black women are involved.” And get this – Adway says there were several signs of potentially false play about Daelena’s body in the form of scrapes and bruises.
Adway complains, among other things, unlawful death and violations of civil rights.

When he was reached for comment, LAPD told TMZ that they do not comment on the hanging court cases. We have contacted Kirikov … so far, not a word back.
Note: Last year TMZ Studios contained the story of Daelena in his show, “Strange and Susticious.”
