Newly chosen Pope Leo XIV has led his first mass as Pontiff, in the Sixtine Chapel of the Vatican.

Leo spoke in Latin, English and Italian and called on the church to do more work where “lack of trust” is and asked cardinals to “announce the good news, to announce the gospel”.
