Putin organizes Victory Day Parade with tight security and a short ceases -furen

Vladimir Putin leads the commemorations of Russia Victory Day with a parade on the red square and raised safety after days of Ukrainian strikes that focus on the capital.

Chinese President Xi Jingping is one of the more than 20 international leaders who made the trip to Moscow.

A unilateral, three-day ceasefire was announced by Russia to coincide with the lush 80-year anniversary event, which has rejected Ukraine as a “theatrical show” that was designed to protect the parade.

The army of Ukraine said it has come under thousands of attacks since it ceases -the fires were put into operation on 8 May. Russia has insisted that it is stopping -the fire is being observed and accused Ukraine of hundreds of violations.

In the days prior to the proposed ceasefire, Moscow and Kyiv exchanged a barrage of rocket attacks.

Flights at airports in Russia were canceled and around 60,000 passengers left stranded In the aftermath of Ukrainian bombing.

There are heavy limitations in the center of Moscow while Russia is preparing for the victory of the Soviet Union over Nazi Germany.

Russia says that 27 world leaders attend the military parade, where thousands of troops will march past the Kremlin and Moscow will present some of the latest weapons.

Volodyymyr van Ukraine Zensky had previously warned that he could not guarantee the safety of no one attending the event and has urged the state not to travel to Moscow.

Mykhailo Samus, a Ukrainian military analyst and director of the new geopolitics research network, told the BBC that he believed that Ukraine would attack the parade, largely because of the presence of foreign leaders.

But if Ukraine would choose to do this, this would be a legitimate military target, Samus said.

During his evening address on Thursday, Zensky said that Ukraine “was ready for a completely cessation -the fire that started now”.

“But it must be real,” he said in a video about X. “No rocket or drone attacks, no hundreds of attacks at the front.”

He called on Russia to support it -to support the fires and “prove their willingness to end the war”.

Ukraine has accused Russia to violate its own ceasefire thousands of times, because it had to come into force on Wednesday evening.

On the second day of the ceasefire, Ukraine said that there had been nearly 200 collisions along the front line, eighteen Russian air strikes and nearly four thousand shelling agencies by Russian troops.

In Prymorske, a village in the Zaporizhzhia region, a woman was reportedly killed after a Russian drone had hit her car.

The Russian Ministry of Defense has said that all groups of Russian troops in Ukraine “completely stopped combat operations and stayed on the previously occupied lines and positions”. However, they responded in a “mirror -like way” in violations through Ukrainian troops.

Zensky has repeatedly rejected Putin’s proposal as a “game” and called for a longer ceasefire of at least 30 days, something that is supported by the allies of Ukraine in Europe and the US.

President Donald Trump wrote on Thursday on Truth Social and repeated the call for an unconditional cessation -the fire and warned of further sanctions for a party that does not register with it.
