Russian strikes considers killing in Ukraine, officials say


At least eight people were killed and more than 30 injured in Ukraine in the nightly Russian drone and rocket attacks, regional officials have said.

Four dead were reported in the West -Khmelnytskyi region in Ukraine. Three more dead were reported in the Kyiv region and one in the southern city of Mykolaiv.

It comes a day after Kyiv was ago One of the toughest attacks since the start of the Russian invasion.

The Russian Ministry of Defense said that his air defense units have shot 95 Ukrainian drones or intercepted a number of Russian regions, including Moscow, for a period of four hours on Saturday evening.

In Mykolaiv, DSNS of the State in Ukraine said that the body of an older man was withdrawn from a five -storey residential building that was hit by a drone. Another five people were injured.

Regional authorities reported three injuries in Kharkiv.

In Russia, the Ministry of Defense said that Ukrainian drones focused on eight Russian regions.

“From 20:00 Moscow time (17:00 GMT) on 24 May to 00:00 on 25 May, air defenses destroyed and intercepted 95 Ukrainian aircraft type unmanned aircraft,” the ministry said in a statement.

Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in Moscow reported that 12 drones were shot on the way to the capital.

He added that crews were used for emergency services to assess damage caused by falling drone rubble.
