Switzerland Traffic cameras catch Flying Mallard

A duck is caught the speed of traffic cameras in the city of Koeniz in Central Switzerland.

Local police said that the wild duck – a wild duck – was broken on radar images on April 13, clocking at 52 km (32 miles) in a zone of 30 km.

As an addition to the mystery, the authorities said that the duck was probably a repeated perpetrator and shared an image of a similar -looking duck that travels in the same place, at the same speed and on the same date in 2018.

There has been speculation about whether the “notorious racer” duck -incident was a late joke of April Fool, but the police inspection said it is impossible to manipulate images on the radar system.

Authorities said that traffic cameras are tested every year by the Federal Institute of Metrology of Switzerland and the photos taken have been sealed.

In a Facebook message, Koeniz officials wished the public ‘lots of fun’ to understand the ‘curious coincidences’ for seven years.

“We wish you a lot of pleasure with detecting curious coincidences, criminal machinations of animals and the maximum flight speed of ducks,” the post read.

Some comments have asked what the fine will be for the violations of the “Racer Duck”.
