Top military officials from India and Pakistan will speak later on Monday to discuss finer details of the cessation -the fire that matches them on Saturday.
The American mediated cessation between the nuclear arming neighbors seems to have kept at night after almost four days of intense shelling and air insalcs from both sides.
On Saturday, President Donald Trump announced -the fires between India and Pakistan and said: “It was time to stop the current aggression that could have led to the death and destruction of so much, and so much.”
Both countries have since stopped hostilities, but say they remain vigilant and warn each other of the consequences of breaking the ceasefiring.
The tensions were the last in the rivalry between the neighbors who fought two wars about Kashmir, a Himayalan region that they fully claim, but partially manage.
The recent hostilities threatened to become a fully -fledged war, because both countries did not seem willing to withdraw and threatened to escalate if the other was not admitted.
Both countries have said that dozens of people from both parties died last week during the four days of fighting, partly due to serious shelling near the de facto limit.
After ceases, the two rivals, however, declared military victory.
On May 7, India reported nine goals in Pakistan and Pakistan-assessed Kashmir in response to the deadly militant attack in Indian-assessed Kashmir who killed 26 tourists.
India blamed a group -based group for the attack, but Islamabad denies any involvement.
In the days since the first strike, India and Pakistan accused each other of the beautiful border overlooks and they claimed to have shot rival drones and planes in their airspace.
