Trump threatens the rates for Apple iPhones and EU products

President Donald Trump has said that he “recommends” that imposes 50% rates for goods from the European Union imported into the United States.

“Our discussions with them are not going anywhere!” He said on Friday in a message on social media.

The announcement marks an escalation of Trump’s trade war with the EU, which has already been hit by a 20% rate for all American exports.

The president also threatened to impose an import tax of 25% on iPhones that were not made in America.
