Unlv Footballer Ben ChristmanThe cause of death has been revealed … with officials who stated that the 21-year-old died naturally.
The Clark County Office of the coroner/medical researcher shared the results with TMZ Sports On Thursday … he found that he died of heart rhythm disorders and cardiomyopathy.
Cardiac arrhythmia is an irregular heartbeat – too fast or too slow – and cardiomyopathy is a disease that influences the heart muscle.
As we reported earlier, Christman experienced chest pain During the training the day before His tragic death.
The details behind death are his heartbreaking – a teammate returned home to check Christman after missing a workout … and discovered the attacking lineman in his bedroom on his back, foaming at the mouth and with purple fingers.
It was established that he had been “dead for a few hours” before he was found.
Another teammate told officers about Christmans’s chest pains during the practice on 10 February … and a coach performed an EKG on him at the unlov facilities. He added a cardio doctor and then assessed the tests and stated that they ‘looked normally’.
In the report, the police say that Christmans’ room was well maintained and clean … and weapons, narcotic drugs, medicines or other suspicious items were not found on the spot.
Christman was a four -star tape in the 2021 class … and was a member of the teams of the state of Ohio and Kentucky before he came to UNLV last December.
