Karl-Anthony Towns Suppose the internet on Sunday evening and Sunday evening when he was seen at the Yankee Stadium that a shirt rocked that threw shade to the Boston Celtics … and the man who gave birth to the iconic meme behind it is still in shock about the whole thing !!
TMZ Sports caught up with Jason Dantona To get his reaction to the viral moment from the last game of the Subway series … And he told us that he initially thought he was a troll when he was first aware of Kat’s wardrobe choice.

“I thought they are messing around with me,” he said. “I knew that the shirt was released a few weeks ago before we knew we were playing the Celtics, but I didn’t really expect one of the players to wear it.”
“In the beginning it didn’t believe, but then a kind of social media went crazy and I saw the messages from the Yankees and even the MLB, and I was just a very cool moment.”
For those of you who were not at home in Knicks Fandom … Dantona became a legend for his reaction in a video of the Sideetalk of the season opener of the team in 2021 – where he published the “F *** Boston” line.
Dantona said that although it was a fast moment in an intense series between Yankee and Mets fans, the cool was to be part of the crowd that put the rivalry aside to come together to encourage the knicks.
“It doesn’t matter to whom you root, we are all busy with the knicks and that is a bit of how the whole city feels,” he said.

While tickets cost an arm and a leg, he hopes to attend Game 2 or Game 5 at MSG against the Indiana Pacers, if the series is eliminated in this way. But in the end he sees the Knicks on his way to their first NBA final since 1999.
“This year it seems that we are healthy, Lord prepared,” said Dantona. “So I think we’ll get them in six games.”
