Wendy Williams Was always a must-watch TV-behaved, unfiltered, iconic but when she took an extensive gap with reference to thyroid problems in 2018, began to show cracks.
By 2021 she was with indefinite leave and Sherri Shepherd Slid in her time slot. A year later, “The Wendy Williams Show” was officially canceled.
Then the BOM – Wendy was placed under financial custody … something she opened about in our doc from 2025, “TMZ presents: Wendy saves.”
In 2024 she was diagnosed with aphasia and frontotemporal dementia, and by 2025 she was moved to a memory care facility and has not been able to leave since then. Yet Wendy is not ready yet – she fights to get her freedom back. Note our timeline.
