Legendary wrestling commentator Jim Ross Just revealed that he is dealing with another health struggle – his fans warns of his recent diagnosis of colon cancer.
The 73-year-old AEW broadcaster shared the news on X on Thursday … which stated that surgery will be planned in the coming weeks while fighting the disease.
“I appreciate your concern and support,” said Ross.
Ross is a staple in the wrestling community – he is a WWE Hall of Famer and has appeared in countless promotions for several decades.
Unfortunately he had his part of medical problems … and just last May he opened an unexpected trip to the hospital for shortness of breath.
He also struggled with Bell’s palsy, skin cancer and also went under the knife in front of his hip.
Despite his health problems, he has maintained a role on the MIC for the major events of AEW.
Towards the end of 2024, he said on his podcast that he was trending in the right direction with his skin cancer … said: “Things are good here.”
