“We intervened with numerous witnesses, including fans and stadium, team and league staff, and revised the stadium and security shots. The club found that the fan had violated the NWSL Code.
“The menacing, offensive or discriminatory behavior or language of any kind has no place at the Gotham FC events. Our club and NWSL have committed themselves to create a welcome, safe and pleasant match experience for all players, employees and fans.”
