Auburn’s John Broome has no “no restrictions” with an injured elbow

San Antonio – Four days after he suffered elbow injury AuburnElite eight victories Michigan, John Broome He said he would be ready to go with “no restriction” for Final Four on Saturday.

Broome returned to Sunday’s game after being injured in the middle of the second half but spent this week in rehabilitation and preparing for retaliation of his team against Florida. On Thursday he had his sleeve on his right elbow when he talked to reporters, but said he wouldn’t care about his availability against the Gators who defeated Tigers, 90-81, on his home floor on February 8.

“I did a lot with my elbow (this week),” Broome said on San Antonio on Thursday. “I took care of it. I got a little angry a little, just pushed it a little. I moved my limits with it. But I’ll be 100 percent on Saturday.”

Coach Auburn Bruce Pearl said that Broome, who had returned to training for the first time since he had suffered injuries, would change against any opponent.

“Well, I’m glad he feels like that (100 percent). Today he was the first day he moved and practiced, so I liked to see him,” Pearl said on Thursday. “It is obvious that it was good to see him there, and one thing Johnni Broome showed in this NCAA tournament is that there is another level. It was other equipment. And again he managed to strengthen.

“Look, Florida acknowledges that and Bigs Florida are a little bigger and a little more athletic than Bigs Michigan State or Michigan, but he was MVP in the southern region and we drove him hard and we’ll drive him again on Saturday.”

Broome suffered injuries when he tried to block Michigan State Forward Frankie Fidler shot from the victory of 70-64 his team. Broome briefly left the trial to see the coaches in the dressing room, but returned after the team medical staff said he had not suffered any great damage.

This is a good news for a team that hopes that SEC player will be full on Saturday.

“He’s doing a great job when trying to improve and stay in the training room,” Standout Auburn Standout Miles Kelly said on Thursday. “But he will surely be ready for Saturday.”
