Celtic Winger Jota aims to constantly conquer new heights after acclimatization for life back in Glasgow.
The Portuguese player scored four goals in 12 games since he signed the club after largely frustrating the magic in Saudi Arabia and France.
Jota quickly managed to show the flashes of his talent and threats, although he admitted that he was very short before the Fitness in Peak Match when he joined Celtic from Rennes at the end of January.
When he spoke before Sunday’s trip to the face of St Johnstone, he lives on Sky Sports, he said, “I think it was a good couple of games. Still trying to be in my best form and I know it will come.
“We never know how far we can achieve, right? So I’m not saying I’m focusing on it, and then I can really focus on something else. So I just go hard every day and try to be the best of myself.
“It is always necessary to improve and obviously win titles and do very good performances in the Champions League, what you eventually focus on.
“But there are so many things that we can always achieve. When you get to the mountain, the top of the mountain, there is always another you can get again.
“No less different. I know where I want to go, I know what I want to achieve and that’s all.”
Jota attempts to build at his promising start is no big secret.
“There’s nothing better than playing games,” said a 25 -year -old man. “If you are in the games in the zone, you develop a lot and in fact you can feel the things that happen there.
“I always say that no amount of training will give you what the game can give you. You can train really hard, that’s important, but the game is always the final thing.
“For me it’s what I’m most passionate about and that’s what I want to play.”
Former Benfica player spent the best part of two seasons in Celtic Park under Ange Postecogla before being signed by Brendan Rodgers, but the adaptation was trouble -free.
“The Celtic structure is very well defined,” he said. “Whoever comes, there is a way to do things.
“It’s really easy work if you are competitive and you can actually work hard and get involved in dynamics.
“If there is a new manager, of course with Brendan, he adds more things. He adds the team differently because each manager is different. He adds some things, Brendan adds more. Then it’s just a matter of adaptation.
“The important thing is that the Celtic is as if I never left. When I came on the first day, it seemed to me as if it were the same. That gave me a lot of comfortable space where I could live.”
Meanwhile, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers repeated that Kasper Schmeichel is facing a magic on a sideline with a shoulder injury, although the club publishes photos of the goalkeeper on Friday.
“Apparently he did not damage his legs to use his legs and work on his touch and what,” Rodgers said.
“I think the timeline we received was five to six weeks of medical experts, but that might have been before. They feel good.
“He has some mobility, he has a rotation there, but we probably have to be careful with the blade and his shoulders.”
