Lake Hiddenvalley Lake claimed an obstacle to Ivy Liverpool in Aintree in a fine style for coach Henry de Bromhead.
The third on the strong leader Olly Murphy in this event 12 months ago was eight -year -old Ascot just before Christmas in Hurdle long walks, but after disappointment in Gowran was the last chance 12/1.
In the middle of the Darraghem O’Keeffe division, he was one of the many runners who moved into a dispute entering the house straight, as well as Jessica Harrington Jetary, joined the strong leader and monmiral Paul Nicholls at the head of affairs.
This quartet jumped the second-post in a row, but O’Keeffe seemed to travel best because Hiddenvalley Lake and colleague Irish Raider Jetara left their British trained rivals ending at the last.
Lake Hiddenvalley soon claimed after the completion of jumping and strongly registered to register the success of two and three quarters over the collection of a strong leader who lost only in defeat, even though he could not defend his title.
Jetara was the third, with Wallpark Gordon Elliott fourth, but for de Bromhead and owner Robcour it was another success in the residential division after Bob Olinger won at the Cheltenham festival.
Teahupoo owned by Robcour was late for the good ground, and De Bromhead said, “It’s nice to be the second chain, isn’t we pleased, Darragh gave him a great ride, we were a little concerned about the country, but I would say it almost preferred.
“He’s a beautiful horse, he was just at Ascot just Chind. He was disappointing in Gowran’s last day, but it’s beautiful to have him back.
“We will like it today. I think Bob Olinger will hopefully go to Punchestown, but both horses will get entry and see you closer time.
“I would say that we will stick to this horse. We tried to jump several times (fences) and seemed not to take it.”
Murphy said of a strong leader: “He’s running well, but Sean (Bowen) is very frustrated because they didn’t go butt, which meant he had to drive him manually before we wanted.
“If they walked gallop, maybe we won? Maybe, but the best horse won the day, Cracker again launched.
“We do not have the apology that they did not go gallop and we had to drive it differently, but it runs very well.
“It’s a really strong stay and they didn’t go fast. He also landed on all four on the second last one he didn’t help.
“I’m very happy, but you want to win, no. This is his race, he loves him here. It’s the flat tracks he wants, so everything will be fine, we start in Wetherby, go to Newbury, probably skip Ascot at Christmas, and maybe we’ll look at Leopardstown.
