The American triple crown handler Kenny Mcpeek dreams that later in the summer he attracts Frankie Dettori back to Epsom when he portrays a courageous betfred derby raid with an exciting maximum promise of Colt.
Dettori tasted the derby twice during his long and decorated career in Britain, and although many may have assumed that the Italian Epsom Days were behind him when he moved to America, Mcpeek was eagerly based on his experience with the famous track.
Mcpeek told the press agency PA: “I would like to think I could bring Frankie to go to the maximum promise, because it is someone who knows there.

“I showed him this horse in January and told him my idea and told him it was a horse with which we could go to Epsom.
“He came to the stables and we looked at him together and I said,” You can ride it “and we’ll find out if they fit your account or not.”
At the beginning of this month, Dettori joined the maximum promise in the Terfway Park three Jeff Ruby Ruby steaks, while the feedback is positive after the third completion.
The son of the maximum security will now be asked to further test his aspirations EPSOM in the US Turf Stakes, Churchill Downs in Kentucky Derby Day, with a strong performance to ensure his ticket to Britain.
Mcpeek continued: “Frankie was pleased with his race the next day, and I agreed with him that the horse needed a little more time, but I think we have eight or nine weeks, so there is a lot.

“We have a lot of fitness under the belt and his last race was decent, he finished third and just hung up for a few turns.
“His next start will be in the US lawn on the weekend of Kentucky Derby and if he runs what I say a good race, he will end fourth or better, then I will bring him to Epsom.
“It’s a race with a rating of $ 1 million and I believe it is” victory and you are in “for Epsom and a good performance would be a strong motivation to bring horses.”
Mcpeek got the appetite of Epsom in 2017 when he saw his Filly Daddys Lil Darling was enough after he screwed with Olivier Peslier in front of Oaks, who won Enable.
After eight years, the 62 -year -old now feels that he has the right candidate to re -evaluate his itching Epsom, because his eyes combine his first Premier Classic runner with his daughter’s family, who lives in Sheffield.

“I think he would play an impressive and never know what happens to Mile and a half in the Epsom.
“Our course in Kentucky Downs reminds, has nothing like Epsom’s history, but it has hills and downhill and challenge and you just have to find a horse that can handle it.
“I think this horse is made for England and the pedigree of this horse is worth studying because it is, from what I understand, five English winners in their female family.”
