Carlos Sainz hit the FIA for a fine of 10,000 euros after the stomach hadn’t made it “five seconds” late on the pre -rand of the national anthem on the Japanese Grand Prix last weekend.
The Williams driver arrived at the front of the grid after the anthem began in Suzuce because she unexpectedly needed to use the toilet.
The doctor in the circuit verified that Sainz suffered a “stomach problem” and was given medication.
Given what they considered to be “in alleviation” of circumstances, the administrators reduced the prescribed fine of EUR 60,000 for such violations of regulations to EUR 20,000, with half the amount suspended in accordance with further violations next year.

Sainz therefore risked another financial punishment when he continued to question Suzuka’s decisions.
