Ellys Perry cricket icon will play for Hampshire Hawks this summer explosion of vitality.
Australian, widely considered one of the greatest female crickets of all time, will play for Hampshire this July after confirmed as an overseas signature.
The 34 -year -old versatile will be available for six luminaires for vitality and two Metro Bank One Day Cup, while Perry will be able to play at the Vitality Finals Finals if Hampshire qualified.
“I’m really looking forward to joining the Hampshire team this summer,” Perry said.
“The club has been a leader in a female game in the last 10 years and I am excited to have the opportunity to join the team in such an exciting time for home cricket in England.
“There is always a great atmosphere in Bowl and I can’t wait until I start as part of the home team for the first time on Sunday, July 6.”
Perry is a top female versatile women’s versatile world and boasts numerous awards, including the double female cricket of the year ICC, named by the ICC player in 2020 and won the Australian International Criket of the Year on three occasions.
