The ranking of the best receivers in college football for 2025


Who will be the best receiver on higher education in 2025? It seems not a very difficult question.

We asked a group of our reporters asking, and the answer was unanimous: Ohio State PHESOM Jeremiah Smith. In fact, of five public opinion surveys, which we have done about the best players and coaches for the upcoming season, this is the only one who has returned with an indisputable winner.

Our panel was asked to vote for their 10 best passengers for the 2025 season (including the tight end) and we distributed points based on their selections (10 points for voting, 9 points to second place, etc.).

In addition to Smith, only one other player appeared on all 10 ballots: Alabam’s Ryan Williams, another newcomer who had an immediate impact. But then the vote was widely open. The list includes players who have reflected from injuries, last season transfers that hit him with big teams and some looking for similar breakthroughs after visiting the portal in this offseason.
