Former France and Sale Sharks ahead of Sebastien Chabal revealed that Amnesia left him without a memory of her rugby career.
The 47-year-old, limited 62 times France, gained the nickname Caveman through his professional career outside the back of his harsh appearance and the reputation of one of the most difficult players of the game.
Chabal represented France at two world cups, but he does not remember any of his career most important or main life events – including the birth of his daughter – as a result of repeated head trauma.
“I do not remember a single second of the rugby match I played,” Chabal said the legend of the YouTube channel.
“I don’t remember one of the 62 Marseillaises (French National Hymn) I have experienced.
“What would you do, my memory won’t come back. I have a few memories of childhood. I think it’s because people have told me about them. I don’t have this memory of past moments.
“When I talk about it at home with my wife, I tell her that I have the impression that it was not me who played rugby.

“And because I (always) thought I was a little cheater, I got there a little by chance. With not remembering, I have the impression that it wasn’t me.”
More than 1,000 former amateur and professional players of rugby unions and rugby leagues have now joined the action of shocks against the sports authorities, and the law firm represented last week.
Rylands Garth said he was now representing more than 725 former trade union players and more than 280 former league players in the case that began more than four years ago.
