Min Woo Lee postponed Scheffler’s nine fees and an impressive surface by Rory Mcilroy to win the breakthrough PGA tour on Texas Houston Open.
Lee took the lead of the four shots until the last day and briefly saw his lead to five strokes on the Memorial Park golf course, with three birdies in the five -hole section around the curve kept him under the tournament control.
The Australian stayed three in advance until the 16 bogey par-fifth did not reduce his lead to one when Scheffler and Gary Woodland set the club houses for 19, only for Lee to keep his last two holes on the tab three under 67 and hold a one-off victory.
Scheffler remains without victory in 2025, but heads for the Masters title with the finalist in Houston for the second consecutive year, while Woodland released his best PGA tour at six years after he equalized the course record with the final round of 62.
Finnish himself Valimaki ended three blows back in the fourth after the match of Woodland’s 62, while McIlroy ended his last start in front of Augusta National with the final 64 and the fifth destination.

McIlroy heads to Augusta with the top five
McIlroy’s thin title of hope appeared effectively when he created a three-button bogey and came to another, just to take advantage of five five and then a 20-foot Putts hole to publish profits from the fifth.
World 2 Holed fired a huge approach to the eighth parrot and packed the putt from a similar distance to the eagle when he saw him turning at 31 before watching the birdie to 15 feet per tenth by adding another to 12.
McIlroy Holed from eight feet to save a par on the 14th and sent a two-button birdie to paro five, but ended a week to 15 under after disappearing from the inner five feet to save a par to the last.
“The last three days have been really good,” said McIlroy Golf Channel. “Actually, I made a slight modification of my driver yesterday, I went to reach and took off a little attic and I definitely drove the ball today.
“When I continued during the week, I went better and better as the score suggests. It was a good week, I still feel like I had some things I was supposed to work on, but overall, a solid week that is pleasant to fine -tune my game to Augusta.”
