Watson said, “I don’t know if I was surprised and I think it probably looked like a very strong Fred Darling and you had the right group horses there.
“The way she won it probably surprised me, but the fact that she came and did something like that was not really, because this spring she was in good order.
“Certainly he can go to Mile in Guinea, he is not in English Guineas, but I think he will run there – in fact she was planned for Italian Guinea, but I don’t think it happens now.
“I imagine going to Newmarket after such a performance.
“She was still very raw when she ran in Rockfel last year and I don’t think she was annoying her to Milly Rowley, she was also a round Goodwood and ran there well, so I’m happy. The classic horse is what we all want.”
Doyle added, “She hit the line hard and I think she will improve up to a mile. We’re not too surprised because her work at home was good and we’ve always thought about her.
“She probably wasn’t exactly where she had to be last year, yet she achieved more than she should have, so hopefully it is her year this year.”
Channon said about Hey Boo, “Our filly is still a big child, and George (Wood, Jockey) said she was really sweet and thought she had the winner covered, but she was just very clearer and our filly just didn’t know what she was doing.
“Two weather runs are not a real preparation for this type of race, but at the end you saw its class and potential and miles will see it in much better light – I wouldn’t want to replace it.
“He goes straight to the Guinea, he’s a first -class mare, and I think he deserves his place there.”
Harry Eustace, a third time coach for sandals, said, “I think it is allowed to think about the Cup Commonwealth Cup and its form is solid. It is a race in which Pillies did well, quite funny, few people running in it, so we will think about it.
“It gets the entry and it solidifies six in Ascot could be ideal, but it’s a mare that could be a lot of fun.”
