College Baseball Week 9: Top 25 ranking and what to watch

New No. 1? Again?!

Yeah, that’s true. Texas Longhorns took the best place on a college baseball this week after they took two games on the road against Kentucky. Arkansas, who organized the highest place last week, lost his series with Georgia in Athens and is now sitting in 2 place. Texas faces this weekend in Auburn Top-10, so if they can show up in this series strongly, there is no reason to slip down. However, Auburn itself showed that it has no problem with the top team.

Auburn swept his series against LSU and, as a result, dropped six seats on No. 9. Another big dropper was Ole Miss, which lost a few hard games for Tennessee. Two of the largest risers come from ACC in North Carolina and Georgia Tech when they both swept their weekend series.

Kansas dropped out of the ranking this week after TCU was swept in Forth Worth, and now Hornd Frogs finds themselves in the 25th place for this effort. West Virginia is the only newcomer this week and replaces Virginia Tech.

Here’s how the best 25 charts look like from April 14.

What makes wild catch diving even better? Do it against your opponent. Check out this ridiculous game by Utah’s Kaden Carpenter against Byu. Utah eventually lost this game 9-8, but Utes won the Salt Lake City series.

Diving catch of Kaden Carpenter Robs Byu about the intervention

Kaden Carpenter makes a ridiculous diving catch that denies the Byu hit in the 7th shift.

Watch the player

Inf/OF, Robbie Burnett, Georgia

Let’s log in with one of the leading home hitters in Burnett. Now it is obviously difficult to watch the season, like the one who had Charlie Condon last year for Bulldogs (in the season he created a record of NCAA with 37 homery), but Burnett has a great year. He is the second in the nation with 16 home runs (one for the frontrunner Grant Gallagher from ETSU) and the most important overall ranking Dawgs No. 5. With 53 RBI in his name in 2025 we are excited to see what he is doing this last month of the season before the SEC tournament.

Watching

6 Oregon State in No. 10 UCLA (21:00 et on Tuesday)

Let’s go out to the west for what is definitely a wonderful trip between Beavers Oregon State and UCLA Bruins. These two units are apparently known when they have faced many times in the PAC-12, but with Bruins in a large ten and the Oregon state independent this year we only get this high game. This last weekend Oregon State looked firm against Cal State Fullerton, sweeping the Titans on the road and over three games a total of 33 runs. She was a little hoarse Washington on the other hand when he dropped the first game of the series, but eventually gathered to participate in the following two competitions. Bruins will have to slow the singer AJ, who was hit by a stripe at nine games, and Aiva Arquette, who is on seven-game intervention if they want victory at home.
