Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric joined Swansea City as an investor and co -owner, announced the championship club.
39 -year -old Croatia has spent the last 13 seasons with Real Madrid and helped them win six champions league titles after a four -year magic in Tottenham earlier in his important career.
Swansea failed to reveal how much Modric, who won Ballon d’Or in 2018, invested, but expressed the excitement in the chance to use his knowledge to help Welsh clothes.
Modric said, “It’s an exciting opportunity. Swansea has a strong identity, incredible fanbase and ambition to compete at the highest level.

“He plays at the highest level, I believe I can provide my club’s experience.
“My goal is to promote the growth of the club in a positive way and help build an exciting future.”
The main focus of Modrics is now on the quarterfinals of the second final of the Real Madrid Champions League at home on Wednesday, but his contract in Bernabe will be expired at the end of this season.
His decision to invest in a football club is watched by teammates Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior, who also make in Ligue 2 Outfit Caen and the Portuguese side of FC Alverca.
Swansea currently owns Andy Coleman, Brett Cravatt, Nigel Morris and Jason Cohen, a group that took over the majority ownership of Jason Levien and Steve Kaplan last November.

The latest Swansea accounts, which were published last month, showed a loss of 15.2 million GBP for the financial year ending June 2024.
