Britain Harriet dart apologized for telling her opponent, France Drinking“Smells really bad” during her comprehensive defeat on the Rouen Open on Tuesday.
During the second set, Dart, who lost 6-0, 6-3, was captured on the broadcast and asked the referee to tell Boisson to use a deodorant.
“Can you ask her to wear a deodorant? She smells really bad,” Dart heard when she fought against the 21 -year -old French in the first round.
The comment raised immediate resistance to the social media and called on Dart to deal with the Instagram incident.
“It was a comment that was made in the moment and I really regret it. It’s not the way I want to behave and take full responsibility,” Dart wrote. “I have great respect for Lois and the way she competed today. I will learn and continue.”
Boisson responded slightly to the incident. On Instagram, she published a photo in her court with deodorant Holubice modified in the picture above her hands, described society and wrote that “apparently need a collage”.
Victory meant stunning upset for 303. The assessment of Boisson, who after injury made his first WTA Tour performance in the season. Dart, which is classified for 62 years, could not convert any of its six points of breaks and dropped it four times.
