“I just saw a warrior who is extremely talented, who needs leadership, structure,” Lee said Sky Sports. “Behind the whole person is a very modest, honest, determined young man.
“Talent like Ben needs mentoring. He needs to be directed, it is necessary to drive, so I thought there would be travesty if he saw such a warrior as this, a loss, or would not reach his potential due to lack of the right coaching.”

He was Andy Lee, who initially addressed Whittaker after watching the first fight with Cameron.
