Grand National Festival: Gordon Elliott’s BrighterDaYSaDAD to make a trip to Aintree in favor of Punchestown | Racing

Gordon Elliott decided against a trip to Aintree with Brighterdayshead and instead decided to target Punchestown after disappointment in Cheltenham.

The mare, the co -ownership of Michael and Eddie O’Leary, ended the event fourth in the last renewal of The Champion Hurdle 11 March, which failed to justify the confidence of the connection that turned the mare obstacle in favor of the opposition constitutional hill.

In the race, Mount Jack Kennedy tried to push through the competition and never endaled the first three even after the state man fell when he was far from the last obstacle, thus becoming the title of the class for catching.

Brighterdayshead was commissioned to run along the constitutional hill and Losiemouth, but these plans are now abandoned by Punchestown now the only final test on the agenda for 2024-25.

Talk to RacingElliott said, “Unfortunately, AinTree comes too early to BrighterDaySaHead. She wasn’t alone in Hurtle’s champion.

“We will prepare it instead of Punchestown. There is a nice break between Cheltenham and Punchestown, so we have a few more weeks with her and she either runs in Hurdle Champion, or an obstacle to the mare.”

The court still has a Wodhooh in the mixture for Hurdle Aintree on Thursday, April 3, after his excellent performance in the Martin pipe on the Gold Cup at the Cheltenham festival.
