Erling Haaland will have to visit a specialist after the attacker Man City suffered ankle injury in the Sunday victory of the FA Cup over Bournemouth.
He was forced forward by injuries in Sunday victory 2-1, after he previously scored the city’s equalization goal in the triumph of comeback.
Shortly after the Norwegian striker gave the city on the level, Haaland’s left leg was caught under the challenge of the cherry midfielder Lewis Cook.
Initially he continued, but in the end it was replaced by Omar Marmoush, who continued the score of City.
The city’s statement is: “Manchester City FC can confirm that Erling Haaland has suffered a left ankle injury.
“Erling underwent the initial tests in Manchester on Monday morning and will now look for a specialized consultation to confirm the full range of injuries.
“The assessment is still in progress to find out full prognosis. Erling is expected to be in time to play another role in the remaining part of this season, including this year’s FIFA Club World Championship.
“Everyone in the club wishes to recover quickly.”
